For Lotta

I want to be a Milf.  I promise, I do.  But something is holding me back.  Laziness?  Inability to focus?  I ate terribly today, and I haven't exercised all week.

I weighed 123 this morning.  Ugh.  Rhubarb cake last week, valentine cake this week.  NO BAKED GOODS, NAT!

Back to the grind tomorrow.  When the hell will I realize that the only way to do this is to STAY AT THE GODDAMNED GYM?!  Also, basically not eat so much white flour.

Nanoo Nanoo.

Back to regular blogging when I get my mojo back, y'all.  Major snow depression setting in.

Also, I am in deep thought about my adult friendships and how they differ from the friendships in my younger years.  It's definitely giving me a lot to think about.  Perhaps I'll blog about that, and how perhaps it's a combination of (a) always feeling on the outside, and (b) being a military wife and moving a lot that my friendships have been different.  I dunno.  I will think about it some more and then post.

I sense that this blog is becoming less interesting for the general public and more of a way to just get down how I'm feeling, and it's better and less time consuming than going to a shrink.  I don't feel funny lately.

Yeah, Dad, I'm sure I still look funny.

1 - Who needs funny, anyway? You are sensitive and insightful beyond your years. You have an amazing memory for useless (anything Hollywood) and useful (everything else) trivia. You have an understanding and appreciation for culture and current events here and abroad making you one of the more educated, "uneducated" persons I know (yes, there are other cultured people in Nebraska, Blogworld). And you appear to be a fabulous mom and a liberated, domesticated wife. And very funny, indeed.

4 - I understand that "bleagh, eaten too much, stuck inside, cabin fever, I am not amused" feeling all too well. It comes over me frequently and definitely more in winter. Be kind to yourself, and know that winter will be over, this will pass and spring will bring better moods and fewer requirements to eat baked goods. When that comes to my house, I'll let you know! (Comment this)

5 - Yeah. Anyway...
Why do they package Shredded Wheat into threes? The serving size is two and this means that every other day you have only one in a paper wrapper that doesn't seal. You also have all the bits that look like oversize tobacco shreds all over the place.Pack em in twos or fours is what I say. (Comment this)

7 - Argh! I just wrote this big comment and forgot to fill my info in before hitting send. Basically it said

1.) Jealous of your weight (but I know it's all relative)
2.) Winter SUCKS WADS to lose weight in. So hard!
3.) Keep on trying, that's all we can do. I know if I gave up I'd be riding my Rascal Scooter and booking two seats airplanes for my big ass.

Thanks for posting! (Comment this)
